Earth Hour

It’s almost time to sit in the dark for a good cause! Earth Hour is happening this weekend on Saturday, March 30th. It’s the time to join millions of other around the world and around #yyc by turning off all your lights and electronics to mark Earth Hour between 8:30 and 9:30 pm. If you don’t wanna just sit in the dark, there is an event at Confluence Plaza at St. Patrick’s Island with free hot chocolate, bike powered lights, firepits, and breweries.

Head to the university for a look and check out all that our up and coming #yyc artists have been producing this year. Whatever your fancy you can find it here, handmade jewellery, paintings, fibre pieces, ceramics and so much more. Admission is by donation, but you may wanna bring some cash to snap up unique pieces of art. Round up your culture loving friends and get out there to support our scene!
