If you’re staying in the city for Canada Day, you’re going to need a great spot to watch the fireworks. For Canada’s 152 birthday you can guarantee that they’re going to be pretty rad. The show goes off from the Centre Street Bridge but you don’t want to be too close there. Enjoy the show starting at 11pm anywhere along the Bow River corridor, but there are a few prime locations. South Bow River pathway between 3rd and 1st SW, McHugh Bluff Park, Nose Hill Park, Max Bell Centre and Valley View Park West Ridge at 26th St SE. Bring your friends, fam, or that sexy special someone to watch the fireworks and make some explosive memories!

Trying to find something to do with the friends and famjam this long weekend? The berries may not be ripe enough to pick yourself yet, but you can’t find a more summery spot than the @saskatoonfarm! It’s got everything you could possibly want for daytime adventure, from a garden centre, a market garden, and a to-die-for restaurant. Take a wander and see if you can find the coveted sakatoon butter tarts, find some sweet home items from the general store, and grab some organic farm fresh produce to take home with you. It’s only a 10-minute drive south from Calgary, open 9-5 and it’s guaranteed to be a beautifully fun date with your nearest and dearest!
