Ever wonder what a fallout shelter would be like over the holidays? Hit up @shelter.yyc for their month-long special Nightmare On 1st Street popup to find out! Taking inspiration from Tim Burton’s Christmas classic, the already intimate fallout décor was Yule-ized by local artist @cassiesuche, the cocktail menu was amped up to include modern takes on holiday classics, and Chef Mikko Tamarra, of @conmitaco fame, has created a killer menu with everything from tacos to beef tartare and special holiday doughnuts with a browned butter cinnamon glaze. Nightmare on 1st Street is a completely local popup, not licensed by an American company, so if you want to support local this holiday season, head to @shelter.yyc to get festively lit in the coolest space in town before December 30th!
