Parade of Wonders
Date: April 26th, 2019
Seatings: 10:30 a.m.
Location: Stephen Avenue From 8th St. to Olympic Plaza
The POW is going down on Friday, the question is, are you planning on being there? The Parade of Wonders is a cosplay parade celebrating pop culture and creativity in Calgary’s downtown, and the official kick off the Calgary Comic & Entertainment Expo! It’s free to participate, but there is a catch… to walk in the parade you MUST be decked out in cosplay. POW! takes place on April 26 on Stephen Avenue, from 8th Street to Olympic Plaza. Over 2,000 cosplayers are expected to take part alongside Calgary Expo special guests for over 15,000 spectators. If you are planning on walking, pre-registration is a smart choice, which you can do on the @calgaryexpo website. If you don’t have the right outfit, have no fear! Watching the parade is almost as good as being in it, so take your lunch break early, grab your work wife or husband and enjoy the show!
